Palisades Park at 3990 Shell Beach Rd has four hard courts that are completely free — no fees, no memberships, no reservations. Just show up with a paddle.
The PBAC Pickleball Program
The Pismo Beach Athletic Club (1751 Price Street) runs the most structured program in our Pismo Beach directory, on four lighted hard courts. Challenge play runs every morning: 8 AM to 1 PM on weekdays and 8 to noon on weekends. Rating-bracketed sessions for 2.5–3.5 players run Wednesday and Friday afternoons (2–4 PM) and Saturday (3–5 PM), and Getting Started clinics for 1.0–3.0 players run Tuesday (3:30–5:30 PM) and Wednesday (4–6 PM).
A $10 day pass covers full club access. Clinics are free for members and $15 for non-members; private lessons are $80 an hour.
